
Sr. Vice President Rakesh Barotia and Rachna Khanna elected
Chandigarh, March 21, Punjabi Dunia Bureau :
An important meeting of the Federation of Social Welfare Associations (FOSWA), a joint and apex body of 15 Residents Welfare Associations, Sector 38 West, 39 and 40, of Ward No. 27 under Chandigarh was held today at Community Centre, Sector 40-A, Chandigarh. The problems of the residents and the activities of the association were discussed in the meeting.
On this occasion, a new committee was elected under the supervision of Chief Patron Mr. S.K. Khosla, Patron Mr. R.S. Gaddu, Tarsem Sharma and Davinder Benipal to strengthen the organizational structure of the organization. During this, Dalwinder Singh Saini was unanimously elected as President, Senior Vice President Rakesh Barotia and Rachna Khanna; Vice President B.S. Randhawa, Harbans Singh, Gurmeet Singh Rao and Davinder Benipal; General Secretary Pardeep Mahajan; Secretary Tarsem Sharma; Harpreet Singh and Anu; Joint Secretary Mrs. Sarla and Happy; Advisor Harish Thapar while Cashier Narinder Kumar was elected.
It is worth mentioning that the newly elected President Dalvinder Singh Saini has been always active in social service work for a long time and he is also the Vice Chairman of FOSWAC and the Convener of FOSVAC.

On this occasion, former Mayor Divesh Moudgil and Area MC Madam Gurbaksh Rawat congratulated the entire team including President Dalwinder Singh Saini and Sr. Vice President Rakesh Barotia and Rachna Khanna. She said that with the appointment of new office bearers of the association, there will be hope for development works in the area and reiterated the commitment to always support those office bearers.
During this, President Dalwinder Singh Saini thanked Chief Patron Mr. S.K. Khosla, Patron Mr. R.S. Gaddu, Chairman M.R. Bhatia and Vice Chairman Amardeep Singh for conducting this election in a unanimous manner. He promised that he will always be ready to solve the problems of the area with the help of the entire team and the residents of the area.
